I think I'll put off on my other event idea for a little while so that we can get our team back on track first. What I'm thinking is we start doing a little meet on the Mixed Server every Saturday or Sunday (depending on who's available and when) for the months of February and March.
However, I need help finding a good time for this as we have people from all over the states and in Australia*. I was thinking probably around 8:00pm Eastern Time should do fine as that should put Eastern Australia at about noon, the earliest being 10 for those on the west coast (unless the time zone map I'm looking at is wrong).
I would pick a later time, but I personally can't get myself to stay awake past 9 (call me old, call me a baby, it doesn't bother me as I get it all the time  ). If you guys from the land down under are able to go earlier it would help me out as then I'd be able to race for more than an hour .
End time is whenever you want to get off. It doesn't really matter as I'm mostly organizing this to get us up off our lazy asses and get rolling.
*and OilSpill in South Africa if he happens to read this and want to race. If you do happen to read this, I haven't seen you very active so I'll organize things as though you aren't here. But if you do want to race, go ahead and let us know so that we can plan things out to suit you also

Good idea, just gotta find some participants. I'll be there of course, just give me a date and time. Since I live in NJ, 8pm works well for me. I'll mention it to the other people on the team who don't use the forum (i.e. nicole and silus). Keep us updated, I don't want this idea to die out. Talk later

I'm down. Need something to get me motivated again. Saturday nights are impossible for me due to my other racing schedules.

Alright, then that pretty much leaves us with Sunday.
So far 8 Eastern sounds good to everybody, but I'll give some time for more people to give input.

Little problem...what about the Superbowl tomorrow??? Kind of conflicting times, unless you're not planning on watching it.

crap I forgot about that. Personally I'm only going to be able to watch the first hour anyways (gotta call my dad from 7 to 8:30). If enough people aren't going to be able to make it to this because of that, we can cancel for this one weekend

Unless your family is having a party and you don't want to be labeled antisocial by sitting in your room while there's a party going on downstairs.
